"I have experienced my creativity to be much like a wild animal, the more I have tried to domesticate it, to squeeze something out of it, the more stiff it has become. To me, the way of teaching myself discipline and exercising my technique is allowing mind space in my day to day. The more I intentionally meditate on healthy things, the more I take in the world around me (the more) inspiration pops into my head. It's in that quiet place that the most genuine ideas are translated into artworks." Heidy on her creative process.
